The Steamer Belle of Louisville, a National Historic Landmark and The Riverboat Spirit of Jefferson serve as the western anchor of Louisville's award winning Waterfront Park in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. With the playing of her calliope, the Belle, now in her 93rd year, continues to beckon one and all to join her on a journey back to the time when she carried passengers and goods to ports all along the beautiful Ohio River. The majestic Ohio River, the major link between the bustling cities of the East Coast and the mighty Mississippi River, was greatly instrumental in shaping the future of the city of Louisville and to this day still captures the imagination of all who visit.
The Belle of Louisville and Spirit of Jefferson are perfect charter venues for Weddings, Corporate Events, Family & Military Reunions, Proms and much more! Our vessels also host celebrations for some of the region's most distinctive events including: Thunder Over Louisville, The Great Steamboat Race, The Kentucky Oaks and The Kentucky Derby.

On September 14th the Spirit of Jefferson will be cruising "down-river" on the beautiful Ohio River to Southwest Jefferson County’s new Riverview Park. Architectural renderings of future developement will be on display for public viewing at Riverview Park. Cash bar and limited concessions available.

- PARKING CHALLENGES LABOR DAY WEEKEND - Posted: Aug 28th 2008
Parking will be challenging because of the Ironman Triathlon on Sunday, 8/31 and the WorldFest going on Saturday and Sunday, 8/30 and 31. Parking on the wharf will be limited. We recommend parking in the Riverfront Garage under the Galt House Hotel, entering through the 4th and River Road entrance. People will find the easiest route to us using exit 5B off I-64 West.
