2021 Year-End Letter from Krista Snider, CEO
The changing of the seasons always brings reflection. Now that winter is here and the year is winding to a close, it’s encouraging to look back on all we’ve accomplished in 2021 even as we continue to ride the waves of the COVID pandemic.
As we count all that we’re grateful for here at the Fourth Street Wharf and reflect on the year that was, we made a list of highlights and noteworthy stats to illustrate the scope of all that our small staff and crew does on a regular basis. I hope you enjoy reading these 2021 highlights as much as we enjoyed compiling them.
In this new era of the Belle of Louisville Riverboats, it’s safe to say we’re just getting started when it comes to curating new experiences that help our community access the river and Louisville’s history in a way like no one else can– all while keeping the safety of our crew and passengers as the top priority. Despite all the challenges of the last two years, we’re getting better all the time, thanks to your involvement and support.
In 2022, we’ll be introducing even more ways for you to get involved in supporting our floating community treasures. In the meantime, thank you for buying tickets and souvenirs; thank you for becoming a member and donating. Thank you for all the ways you encourage us. We feel the love and, trust me, the feeling is mutual.
With Much Gratitude,
Krista Snider, CEO
